Jay

Joining the team in 2025, Jay is a student optician studying at Seneca Polytechnic. Starting in the optical industry as a stylist, Jay's desire to provide empathetic and informative care to patients is what led them to pursue a career as an optician. During their first year at Seneca, Jay participated in the Opticianry Program's Trade Show and acted as a Peer Mentor for the Summer Semester in 2025. Prior to their experience in the optical field, Jay earned their Honours Bachelor's of Arts from the University of Toronto Mississauga and a Certificate in Digital Communications with Sheridan College. Outside of work, Jay enjoys trying new cuisines and playing video and board games. They are looking forward to writing NACOR once they graduate from Seneca.
